Fall is in the air. Ok. Maybe that is a teeny bit of a stretch, but fall fashion has certainly taken over the racks at our favorite stores. Being born and raised on the east coast, I could give you a hundred reasons why Fall has always been my favorite season. During my childhood, the anticipation of starting anew each school year was always combined with the trees changing colors. The aroma of homemade applesauce frequently greeted us at the door when we came back home and the excitement of finally getting to wear our brand new school threads was like a fashion show in itself.
To this day, I love to shop for fall the most. While the cooler temps are here to tell us that winter is coming, we can spend the few months before by wearing cute jackets that don’t quite provide the warmth we need during the colder months. We can spend chilly nights in cozy sweaters and we can trade in our strappy heels for over the knee boots for a night out on the town.
If I were to ever leave the east coast, I would miss Fall for sure. There is nothing quite like a bonfire night and a hot cup of cocoa. Nothing at all.
